Simple landscape improvements with a clean finish
A useful refresh does not have to rebuild the entire yard. Pulling weeds, clearing overgrown beds, redefining visible edges, refreshing mulch, and trimming or removing problem shrubs can make the front of a home feel cared for again. We focus on practical improvements that fit the existing property and the amount of maintenance the homeowner wants afterward.
Central Oklahoma conditions make coordination important. Mature trees affect shade and root space, wind moves loose material, and summer heat can expose plants already under stress. Before starting, we look at the trees above the bed, accessible working space, drainage that is visible from the surface, and existing plants you want to keep.
What's included
- Bed cleanout: Removal of weeds, fallen leaves, volunteer growth, and agreed unwanted plant material.
- Shrub and bush trimming: Basic shaping and reduction where plants remain suitable for the space.
- Shrub removal: Cutting and removal of agreed bushes that are dead, overgrown, or no longer wanted.
- Mulch refresh: Placement of mulch in prepared beds when included in the estimate.
- Light landscape cleanup: A practical reset focused on appearance, access, and easier upkeep.
- Debris handling: Agreed clippings and woody material are collected so the finished area looks tidy.
How the job works
During the free estimate, Brady walks through the beds and asks what you want to keep, remove, or simplify. We identify weeds and volunteer growth, discuss shrubs that need trimming or removal, estimate mulch needs when requested, and account for tree roots and equipment access. Your estimate spells out exactly what's included, so there are no surprises.
Once scheduled, the crew protects the plants marked to remain, clears the defined beds, completes trimming or removals, and applies agreed mulch. We collect debris and review the visible finish. When tree limbs block light or create recurring debris, we can discuss trimming as a related service rather than making unapproved cuts.
When a landscape refresh may help
- Weeds and volunteer growth have taken over established flower beds.
- Shrubs cover windows, crowd walks, or have become difficult to maintain.
- Old mulch looks thin or mixed with leaves and debris.
- A property needs a manageable curb-appeal cleanup before an event or sale.
- Tree work has changed the light, access, or appearance around existing beds.
Why choose Williams
Williams Tree & Landscaping is licensed and insured, and Brady stays involved in planning the work. Because our team also handles trees, brush, and hauling, we can recognize when an overgrown bed is connected to larger woody growth or overhead hazards and explain the right sequence.
Our bucket truck and Vermeer BC1000XL chipper are available for separate tree work when the property calls for them; ordinary bed cleanup is completed with tools appropriate to the smaller scope. In every case, clean jobsites and clear expectations matter. We remove agreed debris and leave the refreshed area ready for the homeowner to maintain and enjoy.
